Murray brings a different background to the Academy as a 22 year veteran of weekly public speaking and relationship-building in pastoral ministry. He believes the greatest similarity between auctioneers and pastors is not talking in front of people; it is taking care of people. Murray makes an annual mid-October transformation as a Professional Santa Claus Portrayer and has effectively grown that business with the relationship-building philosophy.
